ABSENCE OF THE FATHER IN FAMILY STRUCTURE AS A DETERMINANT OF AN IDEA ABOUT THE FATHERHOOD

Reviewed and analyzed the main theoretical approaches to the problem of father absence in family structure in terms of defining the nature of forming the idea of the fatherhood of boys from single-parent families. A summary of the objective and social reasons for absence of the father in the family. The features of the perception of his father leaving the family, depending on the age graduation. The main types of relationships in the family, in accordance with the position of the mother about the missing father. A comparison of personality characteristics of boys from two-parent families and their peers from families that do not have a father. In accordance with the results it should be noted that this problem is widespread and relevant for further study. Existing concepts regarding the issue give a lot of information useful in family psychology.
