EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF FAMILY EDUCATION ON THE FORMATION OF MOTIVATION-VALUE COMPONENT OF ECONOMIC CONSCIOUSNESS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN

The article analyzes the problems of formation of motivation-value component of economic consciousness in primary school children as influenced by family education. It is shown that it is the family, due to the closeness between parents and children, that plays the key role in the shaping of child’s motivation-value component of economic consciousness, which is responsible for the importance of economic objects to him. The article sets forth a classification of family education types based on matching the orientations of parent personalities and educational tactics. It was found that the type of family education affects the development of motivation-value component of economic consciousness in children of primary school age. When parents used optimal up-bringing tactics, the peculiarities of motivation-value component of economic consciousness in their children were consistent with orientation of parents’ personalities. Non-optimal tactics were found to prevent forming in children of such characteristics of motivation-value component of their economic consciousness that would be consistent with orientation of their parents’ personalities.
