MOTIVATION FOR EFFICIENT WORK OF TEACHING STAFF AT HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

The publication considers the issue of motivating the teaching staff at higher educational institutions to efficient work. Since the issue of motivation is studied by psychology, sociology, economics, management, pedagogics and other sciences, the research is based on system-activity approach of interdisciplinary research methodology. Motivation theories are analyzed and divided into two groups: psychological theories and socio-economic theories. The purpose of the research is working out the model of work motivation within the narrow frames for the system of work meaningfulness and higher school teachers professional development. The concept of “motivation” is reflected to contain the aspect as follows: the employee behavior, personality type and needs, applied management practices, procedural approach. Each aspect is thorough considered. The task set is to create an algorithm of evaluating staff productivity, based on the system of rules and procedures accepted in a particular organization.
