THE COGNITION COMPONENT IN THE STRUCTURE OF THE PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF TEACHER OF HIGH SCHOOL

The article discusses a problem of the changing of requirements of professional competence of teacher of high school connected with transition to a competence model of professional education. Importance a definition of professional competence of teacher of high school. Much attention is given to the cognition component in the structure of the professional competence of teacher of high school. What is viewed in this article is criteria of the analysis (interdisciplinary integrations of professional knowledge, ability to do lifelong self-learning, creative activity, critical and flexible mental activity, ability to do professional analysis, ability to do reflexive) and characteristics of the levels of the development that can be used for teachers introspection. It was proposed the study methodology of cognition component of professional competence of teacher of high school. In the article were rendered the effects of the pilot testing of the cognition component of professional competence of teacher of high professional school.
