STUDY OF ANXIETY AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS OF YOUNG PEOPLE WITH HEAVY INFRINGEMENTS OF SPEECH

The problem of anxiety is one of the most important issues in modern psychology. Anxiety is a subjective manifestation of personality trouble, its deadaptation. The formation of anxiety in school causes especial concern of psychologists in recent years. The consequence of this adverse effect is often a violation of communicative activity and mental health of students. More acute problem of communication is connected with adolescents with severe speech disorders. This can be explained by the fact that the process of interpersonal communication goes through speech. Speech disorders often cause communication barriers. In turn, low sociability leads to deformation of personality and reduces the effectiveness of overcoming speech disorders. A detailed diagnosis of anxiety on eight factors was done. It was found that children with heavy infringements of speech had some increase in the level of anxiety by these factors: the experience of social stress, frustration needs to be successful, as well as the problems and fears in a relationship with teachers. Diagnosis of communication skills showed that the majority of children with severe speech disorders have low levels of communication skills.
