PSYCHOLOGICAL SPECIAL WAY FORMATION IMAGEOF «I» YOUNGER ADOLESCENTS WHITH MENTAL RETARDATION IN THE CONDITIONS OF EDUCATIONAL INTEGRATION AND DIFFERENTIATION

Study investigates the psychological characteristics of the image of “I” in younger adolescents with mental retardation formed depending on psycho-pedagogical conditions of their learning: in terms of educational differentiation (special remedial school 7 species) and in terms of educational integration (7 remedial classes form comprehensive schools). The comparative analysis of the characteristics of self-image and the “I” in younger adolescents with mental retardation compared with normally developing peers and peers with intellectual disabilities on such parameters as: subjective importance, content, structure and mechanisms of formation. The features of the image of “I” age-related characteristic of young people with normal mental development, and adolescents with mental retardation, as well as the specific features of the way “I” inherent adolescents with mental retardation. Moreover, the analysis of the specific features of the image of “I” in younger adolescents with mental retardation enrolled in the educational conditions of differentiation and integration, which gives an idea more or less psychological well-being of adolescent development in existing psycho-pedagogical conditions.
