This article describes the theoretical principles of voluntary regulation in the early preschool years. Identified levels of mental regulationWe consider the term «regulation» in the future relating it to the early pre-school age. The author ‘sstructure of psychological readiness, which includes three components (intellectual, emotional, motivational and volitional).Shows the relationship between the development of emotional and volitional component and the start of school.
