PHENOMENOLOGY OF DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATIVE ABILITIES OF PUPILS

The article reveals the rationale for a new conceptual approach to the study and development of cognitive abilities of students. This approach is a combination of the leading ideas that reveal the essence and the laws of the process of development of age-related cognitive abilities. A new concept is presented on the basis of generalization, systematization and integration of various theoretical and own experimental data obtained as a result of a longitudinal study, and performed as part of the system description of the ontological, chronological, structural and dynamic aspects of the causal age development. This conceptual approach has allowed reasonably implement a systemic study of the results which were obtained objective measures of progress in the development of cognitive abilities of students 9-17 years of age. The complex diagnostic abilities of schoolchildren conducted within a longitudinal study allowed the present age dynamics of the integral index of cognitive abilities, specifying the nature of «curve» of having the sensitive and critical periods.
